Kolkata Amaar : Episode 1.
This Blog "Kolkata Amaar" is primarily my reminiscences on Kolkata (in Bengali). It is the city where I was born and brought up, the place of my alma mater and the metropolis I have been watching closely since my childhood. The span of this memoirs is a little over 50 years and it is based exclusively on my memories that I could still recollect with ease.
The postings will be essentially in Bengali and most of the pictures featuring here and elsewhere in this Blog have been collected from Internet/Google.The picture at the end of this episode is of yours truly - most probably taken by my father.
