Kolkata Amaar : Episode 4
During my school days in the late 50’s and early 60’s.
Kolkata was a children’s delight. Loving dhoti-clad ‘mastermoshaais’ and a strict Headmaster in the Bengali
medium schools, the Hajmeewallahs and Badamwallas
outside the school gate with plenty of allurements for us and enough playtime and
playgrounds for our recess hours. My experience in South Suburban School (Main), Bhowanipur, was
all the more rewarding…
